Story
Sean & Nuria first crossed paths, quite literally, on a 30km hiking trip to Lancing College, Sussex in October 2020. Although they initially bonded over their mutual love of Spain, exchanging WhatsApp details, the pandemic intervened and it wasn’t until six months later before their first proper dates exploring Windsor, the Ouse Valley and Borough Market during the following Spring.

Sean y Nuria se cruzaron por primera vez, tal cual,
en una excursión de senderismo de 30 km a Lancing
College, Sussex en octubre de 2020. Aunque inicialmente congeniaron por su mutuo amor e interés por España, intercambiando detalles por WhatsApp, la pandemia intervino y no fue hasta seis meses más tarde cuando
empezaron a tener sus primeras citas, explorando Windsor, Ouse Valley y Borough Market durante la primavera siguiente.
In spite of Sean’s terrible taste in clothes, and his dodgy Spanish pronunciation, the relationship blossomed over the Summer with Nuria inviting Sean to her home town of San Pablo to meet her family and celebrate his first Spanish wedding.

A pesar del pésimo gusto de Sean para la ropa y su mala pronunciación del español, la relación floreció durante el verano cuando Nuria invitó a Sean a su ciudad natal de San Pablo para conocer a su familia y celebrar su primera boda española.

The pandemic struck again in December with Nuria stranded in
London with Covid, days after Sean had flown to Alicante where they
were due to celebrate Christmas with his family. Sean dashed back
home so they could at least spend New Year’s Eve with each other,
and they moved in together a few weeks later!

La pandemia volvió a golpear en diciembre con Nuria confinada en Londres con Covid, días después de que Sean volara a Alicante donde debían celebrar la Navidad con su familia. Sean regresó casa para que al menos pudieran pasar la víspera de Año Nuevo juntos,
¡Y unas semanas después se mudaron juntos!
Nuria and Sean’s love of great food, Spanish wine, and travel has
made for an amazing three years including trips to Portland,
Cambridge, Bath and Brighton in the UK, white-water rafting and
hiking in Bosnia, and long weekends in Madrid, Porto, Sorrento and
Amsterdam.

El amor de Nuria y Sean por la buena comida, el vino español y los viajes han dado como
resultado tres años increíbles, incluidos viajes a Portland, Cambridge, Bath y Brighton en el Reino Unido, rafting y senderismo en Bosnia y largos fines de semana en Madrid, Oporto, Sorrento y Ámsterdam.
At the end of a fantastic winter holiday to the Maldives in February
2023, Sean proposed at a candlelight dinner on the beach. Nuria said
yes and one year on from our engagement, we’re delighted to invite
you all to celebrate our Wedding with us in Granada.
